Vince Bass - Managing Partner

 Is a Chicago native with over 30 years of experience as a marketing professional with a proven history for building brands with integrity in multiple industries. Since earning his BA from Howard University’s School of Business, he has held various positions within multiple industries including, entertainment, liquor sales/distribution and most recently Government and Product & Business Consulting. 


These experiences have shaped his desire to provide full scale consulting in all of his areas of expertise and proven success.  His career path started in entertainment, where he successfully organized/programmed over 1000 events in the Chicagoland area as a promoter/producer, discovered and managed a spoken word artist that won multiple Grammy's and a comic with TV and movie credits.  

 

Vince honed his Sales and Marketing skills from working as a Key Account Manager (KAM) for Remy Martin USA and as a Portfolio Specialist for Relay Marketing.  While working as a Portfolio Specialist for Relay Marketing, Vince built working relationships and maintained open communications between: agency, client, distributor partners, and assigned key accounts as a Courvoisier Diplomat.

   

In recent years Vince’s professional career has included extensive public service in roles focused on leading public outreach management strategies and developing relations between agencies, businesses, communities, and the State to promote policy implementation, economic opportunity, and growth.  Vince was appointed as the Director of Public Engagement and Civic Affairs by the Governor of Illinois to lead public outreach efforts with state and local governments, businesses, supporting agencies, and communities which included meetings with the Governor, senior staff, agency directors, and specialty groups statewide. This role included the Coordinating efforts in the development and implementation for a broad spectrum of agency policies, procedures and guidelines between, the Governor’s Office and designated state agencies, boards and commissions.  Vince also served as the Director of External Affairs for the Office of the Comptroller (IOC), where he defined, analyzed, and investigated organizational structure in cooperation with assigned agencies, to identify organizational strengths and weaknesses involving confidential and controversial information and records.   


As Business Relations Specialist for the Department of Central Management Services,  Vince coordinated efforts in the development and implementation of a broad spectrum of agency policies, procedures, and guidelines for the Business Enterprise Program (BEP), liaison to the Governor’s Office, and designated state agencies, boards, and commissions.

   

Presently, Vince serves as the managing partner of Invinceable Ones, LLC.


Vince is an alumnus of Howard University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration and a graduate of the University of Chicago High School.
